Default Tea

Hi all,

I have a beautiful little china teacup, and I'd like to put tea in it. I have some scenic water, but I have it in a vase and it's really discoloured plus it does seem to 'creep' up the sides quite a lot.

Any other ideas, or do you think that putting some paint in it to make it tea coloured will stop it discolouring?

I've looked at liquid polymer clay, but the cup is very delicate and I'm not sure about baking it.

Thanks in advance,

Karen.

I think it would discolour too, but given itís tea, if you colour it like you are suggesting, then the discolouration will be less noticable.

What about plasticine. Mix some brown with white. A soak in a little warm water may help to remove it in the future if you need to change it.

Thanks guys. I went with the scenic water, coloured with acrylic paint. I couldn't get it quite right, so it looks more like coffee! Oh well.

If it does discolour, I can melt it out and try the plasticine.

Thanks again,

Karen.
