Default Edwardian Era Jane Harrop

My copy arrived today and it is FANTASTIC!!!!!!

Anyone who has her 1940s book will know the quality of her work and her projects but this surpasses it. A wide variety of projects that don't need to be limited to Edwardian Era and pleasurable book just to browse through even if you never made anything (although you will ). Possibly a few projects are reminiscent of the 40s book as styles evolved, but there is heaps more including Arts and Crafts styled furnishings, fireplaces and lots of accessories for every room.

Hi Christine, Sounds like your nose will be buried in the book for some time. Its so nice when something far reaches your expectations. So when do you start building the Edwardian house then. You need to be watching the old series of " Upstairs Downstairs ".

At the rate this house is going, I might not have enough lifetimes to get to my Edwardian house. I can use bits in this house and my shabby house (after this house ) There isn't a piano which surprised me as I know she has one she sells as a kit or class with some other items which are in the book. I guess you have to save something for the next book.

It's always good to sit down and read a good book, especially one connected to this hobby whether you use it or not!

I read this at the local library and have to agree! Great book, with loads of ideas.

I'm going to treat myself to a copy once I finish the build of my shop
