For my small tools, I use a fishing tackle box. I can stuff a little bit of everything in it. I have a smaller one for a grab and go when I go visiting for a few days.

I have a big holdall for my stuff, glue gun, saw, pliers, cutting mat, tiles, and within that 2 more bags for my glues, scissors/knives, brushes. It is heavy when I take to my club but I know most of the equipment I need is in there. I do spread myself around when working on my table at home and when I get everything out to make, yes clutter exists for days until I finish what I'm making.
