Default Beginning to build Grosvenor Hall

After reading this forum for several years this is the first time I've posted. I am just beginning to build the Grosvenor hall kit. I have completed two dry builds (the second below with some modifications I am going to make), it really is huge! Next I plan to seal all the pieces and paint them before starting assembly. I will probably be posting here constantly haha, seeking the advice of all you wonderful people! Any recommendations for paint and glue?

Hi Jc. Best paint (in my opinion!) is Farrow and Ball. They do generous sized sample pots for about 4, including a range of various shades of white/off white which are perfect for minis.

Hi JC, you are making a great start on the Grosvenor....it certainly looks pretty massive! I suppose paint depends on what styling you are doing. There are some fab heritage ranges out there & the tester jars/tins are a perfect size. Look forward to seeing what you do with this one

Welcome to the forum JC and congratulations on your Grosvenor Hall. I really like your planned alterations ~ I am a big fan of 'kit-bashing'! Looking forward to seeing this develop!

Hi JC and welcome to the forum. I hope you have a great time doing up your house. I always use PVA glue and only use emulsion or satin paint and NEVER use gloss paint.

Thats the monster house kit, yes? It looks big enough sitting there on the floor in your photo.
It's nice that you are adding your own personal design to it. Will watch with interest, you are off to a good start.
