Default Progress so far

As the weather has not been too good I have made some progress on the cottage. I have built a false wall on the first floor to bring the stairs forward giving me enough room under them to fit a loo and, hopefully, wash basin.

The first photo (sorry about the quality) shows it with the door closed......

...and the second with the door open....

No loo yet as I still have to buy one but think I have sourced the one I want. Ignore the block at the foot of the stairs - purely temporary to hold them in place whilst I get everything measured and fitted!

I would also like to get hold of a glazed door for the ground floor room (which will be a kitchen/diner) but the ones I have found so far seem to be taller than the standard size of door. Anyone any suggestions?

I will keep you all up to date with photos as I progress further. Any comments always welcomed.

That's excellent Reg - it's getting there. Good work
I'm also looking for glazed internal doors., the only one I've found so far is the one they call a 'single french door' is that the one you mean?

Thanks Kath. It has taken a lot of 'fine tuning' to get to this stage but it is looking good even if I say so myself!

The only single glazed door I can find is from Bromley Craft Products but the height is different to their other internal door that I have used. As I am a bit of a perfectionist I don't think it would look right having two different height doors on the same hallway. The link is below:

BU6022 - Glazed Interior Door for 1:12 Scale Dolls House*from Bromley Craft Products Ltd.

Let me know if you have found a different one.

Well done for gaining that extra space under the stairs. It's looking good.
