Default Plan Toys My first house - ideas please

we were donated a Plan Toys 'My first house' in basic good condition, with just writing, felt tip, a broken window...but basically solid replenishable wood with lots of opportunity. we're going to do it as a 'charlie and lola' house http//:Charlie and Lola™

for our son. ideas please Picture should be attached, also one of a swedish house. ours is wood-coloured with a red-white 'tiled' effect roof. should we paint it white to get rid of the felt tip etc (won't come off with flash bleach) - would fit with the scandinavian feel, like the charlie and Lola books.....use wallpaper.....any ideas please! Am new(ish) to this.

thank you

Don't know CharlieandLola will have to check out my GS's books. I gave up trying to get somewhere with their site, just kept playing that tune and did nothing when I clicked on the thing I am assuming sanding the offending felt pen marks is out of the question, so you could try painting it or what about washable stuff like Fablon , then it will be wipeable Actually I like the idea of the sticky stuff

Thanks I've had a go sanding, biro came off but not felt tip but the external frame now looks good, I gave it a good nourishing'feed' with furniture wax polish and it cam up a treat. So did the floors. My son wants the charlie and lola printy paper on the walls, so I'm goign to have a go with pritt stick and will post up when done...

Do you have Chux Magic erasers over there? Bright Ideas - Chux Magic Eraser

I don't know for sure if they would remove felt pen from unpainted wood, but if it has a seal on it they should. I use them for taking felt tip prices off just about everything from book covers (including paperbacks) to highly crazed vintage china and they are magic.
