Hi Horsetoffees - great name, by the way!

I got the brick paper from here:

Textured Brick Sheet - Flemish red: Dolls House Parade

It's textured and has sand in between the 'bricks' which makes it look really quite real! I wanted something more realistic than normal brick paper, but didn't think I was quite up to the challenge of using brick-slips (being a first-timer) so this seemed like a good compromise. Then I've used textured 'stone' paint on the upper floor. I like that it's quite tactile as well as looking good.
