Default Windsor Castle & Queen Mary's Dolls House

Hi All

I'm going to visit Windsor Castle on Saturday & see Queen Mary's Dolls House, my sister lives in Swindon so I asked her if we could come & see her in order to see it. I did go a few years ago but that was before I was interested in DH's.

Hi Cinderella,
That will be a lovely trip I bet! I've never been, but my mother went and said it was fabulous!

Queen Mary's Dollshouse is on my list of 'Must Visits'....from photos it looks absolutely amazing! i've heard it even has running water and flushing toilets - don't know how true that is though
Have a lovely time and look forward to hearing all about it when you get back...

Hi Kath,

Yes, it's true! I was there earlier this year and it's certainly well worth a visit. In fact if you're going it pays to check out the website for Windsor cos if they have something arranged you only get round some of the Castle and the State Apartments are closed. It would be a pity to miss those as they are great to see too.

Hi Lynda,

It is really lovely at Windsor Castle. Sue and I went a couple of years ago, and we sat on the floor looking at it for ages whilst everyone else filed past us. It is really amazing the detail in it. I am sure you will have a good time and seeing your sister is a bonus (I presume).

Ann
