Hi I am still waiting for the book from the library maybe this week will get it . Am really looking foward to seeing it. To think I went to Windsor and did not bother to see it. But that was befoe DHA took over There is a coach trip later in the year so may get a chance then . whispers Meanwhile will have to make do with seeing " The most expensive" one in the world in three weeks time

Nutters like that as said in a previous post is better not to even look at the post as we have done before cos if you add a remark he/she has achieved their object you have looked. Am sure as mom says it will be erased asap on Monday.

Hi All

I borrowed the book from the library a while ago, It certainly is fascinating. I have the guide book & it was good to compare both of them.

i used to go every week with my best frend to windsor castle to stare at queen mary's dolls house. we lived just down the road and back then it was free to go in and look around some of the castle and the dolls house room was one of them. its one of the strongest memories i have as a child. we just used to stand and stare for hours, i was only telling my hubby bout it the other day when i ordered my house. could someone tell me the name of the book so i could see if i can get a copy, i'd love to see it again but now live too far away to visit!

Hi Vicky Was DM that went to Windsor last weekend I think it was. She will have the full title but if you just go to the library and ask for the QM Dolls house book they will find it.
Also there is a big DH at Hever Castle so am told am going there in Sept. There is also some minis at Leonardslee gardens although not sure what that is. if you just type in Leonards lee you will get the website and it shows you on there. That is not far away
