thanks i think i got some 28ct evenweave and 16ct aida so will have to get a small bit to try
just finishing a prom dress at mo for my best friends daughter so i'll have more time soon to try miniature cross stitch

I use 16 count aida for all my cross stitch items, cushions, rugs and pictures. It just depends how good your eyes are and how comfortable you are sitting with a magnifying glass. I would hate to do that so i just use 16 count.
