Hi, this is your private space to let us know what you think about our Junior Collection, if you've got any ideas or stories to share with us we'd love to hear from you, send us pictures of things you have made for your dolls house, or let us know what adventures you have with your dolls.

Strange as this may sound, my nine year old son loves helping out with my dolls houses. So much so he's helping to design the interior and pick colour schemes.............although I'm not sure they had action man wall paper and quilts in the victorian age. :D :D :D :D

Hi miamoo250,

My two girls (10 and 13) have always had a dolls house, as long as I can remember, 5 years ago I got them a more grown up one, which they are now refubishing, and making even more grown up, it is now called Sailors Rest and is the home of a retired Victorian Sea Captain.

My youngest son (7) has his own mini dolls house a 1:48th scale house.

And my eldest son (15) helps do all the jobs required on everones elses house, he helped no end with the wiring.

Hi sewing pirate,

Its nice to see other dolls house collectors, sons, as well as daughters, getting involved with the hobby.
My youngest son (10) loves to help also, the middle one is a the Kevin" stage (14) so everything is "boring" at the moment for him, although I do cartch him occasionally taking a peak at my efforts lol. :D and my eldest (22) thinks its great too, although he thinks I am obsessed about it.

I'd like to get my youngest something that he could turn into a castle or whatever.

Hi sewingpirate,

Is it one you made yourself or did you buy it? I think my son would love something like this, hes very much into "proper" playing...........you know, without buttons and load beeps...........LOL:D

My four year old has a wooden barbie sized house, but I think she's set her sights on my Springwood Cottage. I've let her help me choose bits for the nursery though I think she now spends more time flicking through the DHE magazine then I do - and thats saying something.

Maybe taking her to the Dolls house fair was not such a good idea :D
