Hi all

I have just received a new book, for anyone interested in making figures in fimo, it is called Creating Lifelike Figures in Polymer Clay by Katherine Dewey ISBN 13: 97-0-8230-1503-0, I started to have a quick flick through yesterday lunchtime and was engrossed within minutes looked up and I had been riveted for 1 hour and my coffee was cold, when I came back from work I spent another hour reading it again, there is so much information and instruction in this book and all done in a way that is really easy to understand a follow

Hi Chris

This book makes all the clothes from fimo too, onto the doll or model, so you would be able to do it, it shows you how to in stages, even the hair is made of fimo, it is very clever

Hi Vicky

I was hoping you would see this as I was thinking about what you said when I read the book, it shows you how to add pieces where all the muscles go to build up the shape of the body and how to do the hands face feet etc, right from the armature to the finish, even all the shading, you should also take a look at that Fairy Fantasia site, the models on that are astounding and if you join their mailing list you can get tips and hips and also download instructions on how to make the models too
