Hi Weepy,
Love the photos. I am currently trying to complete Fern Villa, my son helped me during the school hols, so at least it's dry built now. :) Sadly though, thats as far as its got again. :(
Time is the issue, need more hours in the day. However, Mayfair is looking really good and has given me some inspiration. Thank You, well done, I may just get around to doing "something" to my Fern Villa too.
Please keep posting new photos, as I love to see other peoples ideas grow.

Thanks everyone! I'm still building (just stuck some of the furniture in to show it off a bit) :D. I've still got a bit of lighting to finish off and a couple of carpets to lay then I'll add the front to the house. :) Then it's being relegated to the bedroom so it can't get damaged and I can start filling it up. Once I've got a bit further I'll post a few more pics! Looking forward to seeing some of the other houses either finished or in progress.

Hi Weepy
I hope from your name you are not Weepy, just emotional!!, Your pictures are absolutely great, you have done so much I love the bedroom and the cream bedding, your carpets are very unusual, where did you get them, and the wallpaper in the rooms is so pretty, did you make the towels in the bathroom

Thanks very much! old chat room nickname goes back years! lol. I made the bedding myself and the patterened carpets were upholstery material picked up on ebay. The wallpaper is all from proper rolls (household), the only ones that were DH are the lounge and the nursery. The towel rail was picked up at a fair and the one on the bath is DHE. Still a long way to go but it's been a great year so far!

Thanks for that! :)
I've got a 2nd hand house sitting here too it's Holme Lodge I think but the people I got it from made a few adjustments to it!! It needs a lot of work on it :(
I'm in two minds if I should split the rooms into different shops e.g. butcher/baker downstairs then maybe dress and hat shop or something like that upstairs or to convert it to a modern house . haven't decided yet as still busy concentrating on the original.
It has brick paper on the outside which I wan't to remove and replace with brick slips I think so that's steering me more towards a house but you never know, I go to fairs and see all the different food etc so may be swayed the other way....Oh decisions, decisions :D.

Hi Weepy nice to see you. :)
House is looking good as someone else mentioned wallpaper and carpets are great. And I love the ladies hair that is in the bathroom.
I did toy with the idea of Holme Lodge but then decided to go with the M/S as have not got the room for more than one house. With the shop I can change things around so can still "play".:) had not really thought of making Holme lodge into a shop.

Hi Weepy,
That the best bit deciding what to do.............and then going for it..........I've bought some slip bricks........are these the same as versi bricks ? If so...........then yes I've got some, but not used them yet as they are for my Fern........they look really good don't they......and what I've been told are easy to do..........just my style of decorating that is.......
