Thank you for sharing your 'wish-list' with us, we always listen to customer requests, and take them into consideration when planning new products. For tiny wheels you could try the Hobbys catalogue available at WH Smiths, they sell lots of model making tools and accessories.

Hi Jenny - i
Your message caught my eye as I have had the same prpblem. A lot of the miniature nursery stuff seems to be geared towards the Victorian era, and my miniature nursery is modern.
I found a lady in Wisconsin, USA who makes the lovleiest modern nursery items in various matching designs - her name is Susan and you can see her stuff on her E-Bay store Wee Craft Miniatures or e-mail her at www.WeeCraft@aol.com. She has a cute car seat/carry chair that looks very contemporary, along with a great high chair and a fabulous twin (as well as single) lie back buggy with canopy. You can ask for a particular colour to fit your nursery/dollhouse.
A pram is a bit harder to find! I found a fabulous site - www.doll-fan.com - which has some beautiful silvercross/wilson prams to view. When you get into the sight, from the list on the left hand side click on 'gallery' then 'jump to gallery' then click on 'Averil' which is at the top of the list. Several picture will come up and the one to click on is the Ballantynes shop - she has all these dolls posed with the silvercross prams - it's just lovely!
The only place I've heard of to obtain one of these prams is a couple called Colin and Yvonne Roberson - I'm guessing that's where Averil got her prams as one or two have very similiar details. I got mine from a dollhouse shop called Goodies which has just been sold and am not sure if it is still trading. The pram is signed with the Roberson initials, the shop didn't say it was by them which was a bit strange I thought. I have seen the Robersons names on exhibitors lists for dollhouse fairs but other than that, am not sure how you would get one. Incidentally they do make them as per peoples requests because one of the prams from Ballantynes was made the same as the one Averil had for her daughter.
Hope this has been of some help Jenny - good luck and please let me know if you do source a nice miniature Wilson or Silver Cross - always room for another!
Regards
Karen

I too am after a modern car seat and buggy and can't find them. I 'know' Avril from doll chit chat forum and her prams are gorgeous but are very very expensive - I was at a dollshouse fair today and saw the twin silvercross pram for sale at £130  although it is stunning. So DHE please get a car seat and buggy in your next catalogue :)
In the meantime I've found the ebay link here it is http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Wee-Craft-Miniatures

One type of shop one sometimes can get wheels and some such from is a Model makers shop - aimed at people who build boats, planes etc - they also have useful tools and little pots of paints - though I still mostly use acrylics.
There must be a catalogue for this type of stuff. For toy wheels beads are the answer: you lcan get small flattish ones ideal for a push along dog on wheels.

Hi Ann
Have you seen the Hobbys Catalogue ....its costs £3.50 but they also have a online catalogue http://www.hobby.uk.com
Hi, there is a modern pushchair on ebay under the brand re-ment. It is made of plastic and is a grey and cream colour. I am not sure if it is 12th scale but I have purchased a few of these items and they don't look too out of place in a 12th scale house. Just type this item number in the search space 270246984769. Worth a look anyway it might be something like what you are after.:):)

Hi..the remant pushchair is a brilliant modern pushchair and works well with 1/12th scale..I used to have 2 but sold them as I didn't need them..
I have bought car seats..high chairs etc from Susan..you can see a range of her baby items here.. http://www.cdhm.org/user/mini_crafters
I can highly recommend her work..they are stunning..She does have a long list though..
The prams I have were made by Colin & Yvonne Roberson..and yes..they do cost a lot but I try to save and buy at least 1 a year..more if I can ..:)
But there is a seller on ebay right now who is making modern prams but I can't remember her name..they look well made..Hope you can find what you are looking for..

Hi Carebear, thats lovely my parents used to have boats when i was young, we had lovely holidays on the river thames. Never been on a canal bet thats great fun too, do you still have to do the locks yourselves or are they all electricfied nowadays?
carebear
20-06-2008, 12:54 PM
We still have to do the locks unless we go down towards nottingham then you start heading to thames where they are powered. Unfortunatly i am unable to help out with them as i have a bad leg so i have had to learn how to drive instead. It makes you really tired at end of day tho with being on the go all the time and when its nice get a lovely tan.

Hi Amanda,
Thank you I'm feeling much better..........hubby is back to work........so the cotton wool has now been unwrapped.........lol.......:D I shouldn't complain he's been an absolute angel.......restrictive.........but an angel all the same.......
Went to see Journey last night ........they were Brilliant......I've wanted to see them since I was 12.......all of 9 years ago........lol........
Okay .....so I lied I'm not 21.......and it was 31 years later.......that I got to see them...but it was worth the wait......I'm definately on a high today because of it.......:D.......
St.Vale
23-06-2008, 02:42 PM
So pleased you had a good trip out that has put you on a high..........be careful with the lies though, Ann will have you doing lines giggle
Amanda
23-06-2008, 02:53 PM
Hi MoM
Glad you are feeling better, and are on a high from last night, hopefully we will see more of you on the forum now
Your hubby has obviously done a sterling job, which needed doing keeping you in cotton wool for a while has probably helped, but now you are without your cushion you can start getting back to normal life
They do say that good things are worth the wait, so waiting for 31 years paid off, but don't tell any more fibs or you will be putting lines on Val's desk in miniature of course, just so that you know Ann is off on holiday so I am making sure that fibbers will be given lines, you get a free pass this time though as we are so please so see you back
