making an album

Hi all have decided to put my houses into a order and am making up my albums, have made a start do you know how many pics can you do, and also do you have to load one at a time thanks Chris X

no very similar just wondered if you have to load one at a time expect you do ha ha thought i would give it a go as would like my houses in one place cos mine are everywhere would be good then i can say they on my album rather than expecting people to wade through over 100 pages ha ha

Funnily enough I've just been doing mine now! You are allowed to upload up to 60 pictures. I've made a few albums and it's really easy. Click on upload and you browse your own computer for your pictures, it even resizes them for you too :)

You can upload more than one at a time yes. You can load three at once. If your files are large though I would just do one at a time then it won't take as long :) Look forward to seeing your photos when you're done! :p

Do you mean the little rooms in my Miscellaneous Album?
I made those little scenes to display the mirrors and frames that my hubby makes for his website ....:)

Hi Lynda oh i was wondering if any one had looked at them just been adding the shops, its nice to see them one after another isnt, will you one too for yours its nice to refer back too. I suppose it is a room box but in shape of a cabin, it was given to me have a lovely friend who was having a clear out thats where i got my shops too, hope she does it again one day ha ha

I am going to make up a album for my shop first & see how I get on. If you have previously uploaded pics for a thread do you need to upload them again for the album. Perhaps this is a silly question.

When you go into your members section go into the album and it takes you through the steps, you will need to upload your pictures again but if you already have them on your computer anyway it is quite quick

love this idea....its so much nicer being able to see al the pics together like that!! sometimesyou want to look at others houses to get an idea or refernce and have to flick through thousands of posts to find the pics....this is a great idea!!!

Hi Val its a brilliant thing, yes do it so much easier without all the questions and answering, think we chat to much, my grand daugthers were here ealier and they wanted there house out to play and the dust on the roof was terrible they even asked for a duster!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think nannie had better get her act into gear and do some house work, if i have a 3 year old cleaning her own house ha ha

Would someone explain how to do it please. Ive gone so far to where you type in album name but to you have to sort your pics into an album first. If so how do you do that. Thanks im a bit slow where computers are concerned

if you put in a title, then click on save (or whatever it is) then a box comes up saying click here to upload photos, if you click that it should take you to a browse box where you can browse your files on your computer for all the pics you want to upload. you don't need to sort them out on your computer first. when you have selected the photos there will be something that says upload. just click on that and away you go. you can add more photos at any time too so you don't have to do all in one go.

One thing I did notice with uploading to my album to think about (unless I'm doing it wrong lol) the last pic you upload of the 3 is the first to appear! Not sure if you can re-arrange once there uploaded though, maybe someone could tell me that?

I loaded my pictures in reverse order.......as this happened to me.....don't think you can shuffle them about once loaded..........:(

Hi its best to load the ones you want to appear in order first as dont think you can change them once they are on, although you could delete them and then put them back on in order that you want hope that helps X

Hi Amy hope you see this how many pccies can we load on an album was doing some more to Vine House now have 25 on there and it wont let me do any more, i was told i could have 60 in an album but went to look at Upton and that wont let me put any more on either HELP thankyou Chris X ps i have 90 picutres on there in all my albums, is there a limit then.

Here I just clicked on this thread without reading right and thought someone wanted advice on making a mini photo album for a house...:D My sister did one a while back for our aunt as a christmas gift. It was all photos of her from her baby days up, and went down like a storm. All properly bound and cased in boards and dust jacket.

Love the photos of the houses, I must get round to doing all mine, several undergoing spring cleaning and renovation just now - my cat's been sleeping in one of the houses again...:p

Just done the start of mine for the Fairy tower, seems very useful as can kepp a record very simply, regret not doing now for houses in the past would be lovely to look back on...Any way into the future now ,having great fun looking forward to browsing all your too....
