This is my latest project so far; not too much left to do - I think the longest job is going to be finishing the paperchains!
This is the left hand side... the fireplace is still on the dining room table as I am still adding the finishing touches to it

This is a close up of the corner unit... on the bottom shelf is a small piece of aida that I did a quick cross stitch holly leaf on, and standing on that is one of a pair of charity shop earrings that I chopped the clip off. Next shelf are two beads with pins pushed through, glued and the excess cut off. The shelf above that is another massacred earring, above that is a silver DHE ornament. On the very top are two books made from scraps of paper wrapped round sticky foam pads.

There are some more photo's here which you are all very welcome to look at - I didn't want to bung the forum up with images as they take forever to load if anyone is on dial up.

Hiya Dotty, The roombox is fantastic!. I love everything Christmas :) I'm still building the Mayfair (had to put it on hold in the run up to Christmas) but hopefully will be able to get back to it in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait to get it finished so I can get some furniture in and then I can start to think about decorating for Easter, Halloween and Christmas!!. Your house also looks great. Keep posting the pics, I love to see others ideas.

I love the room and I love the paperchains - can you make some for me next year ;)

Hi Ali, take a look at our 'top tips' in the Building a Dolls' House section, we have an easy to follow guide to making your own paper chains.
Thanks Jenny, looks good.
Fingers crossed my house will be ready for Christmas decorations next year :D

Thank you for the lovely comments, much appreciated :D
I've put it away again now and carry on with it in the run up to Christmas, it seems to fall into place better doing it in the right season somehow.
Hi DottyC,
How on earth did you do the paperchain. ?

Oh I missed this one and really like your Christmas scene, one day I will get round to doing one of those!
That's a lovely Christmas room - especially the tree and paper chains.
Lis :)
I love your tree, and I want to make paperchains like that too! They look fantastic!
