View Full Version : Cherry and Robert Seyffert's Oak Hurst Gardens
Dolls House Emporium

We've just received a lovely email from Cherry and Robert Seyffert who are based in Wuppertal Germany. They have sent us some lovely pictures of their superb Oak Hurst Gardens Dolls House:
We thought you might like to see our nearly finished Oak Hurst Gardens project. We had it as a present from my brother and his wife in May and have since then worked on it on Sunday afternoons. The kit was purchased from you 2 years ago and work on it was never started. We have bought many items from you and have also made a few alterations using parts bought in Leipzig.
It was a lot of hard work which we enjoyed doing and we would love to share the results with lots of other dolls house enthusiasts. After our Christmas holiday in England (Leominster in Herefordshire) we shall be finishing the interior furnishing.
Cherry and Robert Seyffert
Well done to Cherry and Robert, they have created a fantastic Dolls House, and keep up the good work!

sorry to be so long in replying,we've not looked at the forum for a long time. The roofing tiles are from a supplier here in Germany, have a look on the website www.karinhelmers.de. It's a lot of work because they'e individual tiles. Many thanks for your interest, before long we'll post a few pictures of the inside.Cherry and Robert Seyffert

If you want the partnumber its EM7104 and they cost €42,50 for 1000 tiles,on the website they are called Dachschindeln. They should be available in the UK because they originate from Eurominis, but have a look at www.karinhelmers.de anyway.Bye for now Cherry and Robert.

Hi Tigers Mum
I also have a wall in my Mayfair that does not reach the back so I have taken enough off the edge of it to add a door and will just add a bit over the top of the door to fill in, saves having to make totally new walls

Here are a couple of new pics,we've still got a lot of decorating to do and choosing furniture is so difficult with the variety on offer. Some things(like the bedside lamps)we get here from Karin Helmers, the living room suite came from America www.dollhousecollectables.com the majority however came from this site.1382

Hi everone, The bathroom light came from Karin Helmers in Leipzig www.karinhelmers.de you should have a look at her website, she has a lot of accessories in 1/12 which seem to only be available in mainland Europe.Unfortunately it's in German but it's worth a look.
One of the problems we find is getting modern furniture and so-on,which is why it seems to take ages to finish rooms.Never mind only four more rooms and we're finished(till the next project).
PS a handy item is this modified folding shelf prop for the roof.
'till the next time 'bye fromCherry and Robert.

Hi,the flooring in the bathroom is from Eurominis part number EM 4501,it's self adhesive and is profiled.Hope this is of use,we buy our Euromini bits and pieces from www.karinhelmers.de here in Germany, but we presume Eurominis is readily available in the UK.

Hi Cherry and Robert
I have bought Eurominis items from the Arnhem Dolls house Fair, and also have the catalogue. Up to now I haven't found anywhere that stocks this range in England.

Hallo everybody,in reply to Winstons mum the stones are glued onto the ledge which is fixed to the front of the house with wood glue. The stones are florists decoration stones which we bought at a garden centre(see the pictures). To glue the stones we just spread the glue onto the ledge and pressed the stones into it,when it was dry we brushed off the excess stones an filled any gaps by re-glueing.Thanks to all for the compliments,Cherry and Robert.
