Hi all,
The Dancing Shoes Competition (http://www.dollshouse.com/dancingshoes) has been well under way since November, and with only two games left to be launched, the £1000 prize is edging closer and closer!!
If anyone has been taking part in the Dancing Shoes Competition (http://www.dollshouse.com/dancingshoes) and would like to make any comments about how easy or difficult they found the games, then please do not hesitate to post any comments on here.
We are hoping to do another competition at some point next year, so any feedback is much appreciated.

I enjoyed taking part in the dancing shoes competion and thought it was neither too easy or too difficult. The only problem I found that on a couple of occasions, although I put in the correct answer, I was told this was wrong. This particular threw me in the final game when time was important. I know you had technical problems during one of the games and wonder if it happened in some of the others. For your info I am 57 years old and trying to persuade my husband to buy me Montgomery Hall.

I too enjoyed the games and had the same problem with wrong but right answers on the final timed game. But previous problems in the game were sorted promptly!

I have enjoyed doing this competition. It has made me look at your catalogue in more detail. But i also had problems with final questions last night and tried twice to-night before it said i had got it correct.

I also enjoyed completing the games. However, I'm also glad I wasn't the only one who experienced problems wiht the final game. Like others I was told my answer was wrong when I had submitted the right answer, thus incurring the time penalty.

Hi all, and many thanks for your comments. There was extraordinary interest in the competition that we had not anticipated. Many people logged in to play the games at the same time which seemed to cause a few glitches that you have all mentioned, especially over the weekend and Monday evening. At the beginning we anticipated around 300 people joining in and playing, but ended with over 2,700 people taking part which is fantastic!!
However, we are glad that you all enjoyed playing the games. The aim was not to make the games too difficult so that children and adults could enjoy playing along and help those that weren't so familiar with the website and catalogue to have a good browse through.
We will announce our competition winner on our Blog some time soon, so keep checking back.
Thanks again for playing, and a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you all.

Hi Dotty
Much to my surprise and completely out of character my husband has given me the quick style Montgomery Hall kit. It appeared in the lounge on Xmas morning and I am so excited (just like a little kid) . I have been away for the last two days so have not had chance to look at it yet. I understand it is best to think about your room settings first so that you can plan lighting and decorating which will be easier to do as you go along. Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi Jean, and congratulations on receiving your Montgomery Hall, take a look at the 'Demonstration Room (http://www.dollshouse.com/dhe/demonstration-room.aspx)' feature on the website before you get started, you'll pick up lots of tips. There are also some Video Masterclasses (http://www.dollshouse.com/dhe/master-classes.aspx) to watch, as well as our 'Lighting is Easy (http://www.dollshouse.com/dhe/lightingiseasy.aspx)' guide.
Lastly, don't forget you can also call our helpful customer services department on 08000 114411 during office hours, they will be glad to help with any questions you might have.
