There are actually 3 magazines in the US. The ones affiliated with Ashdown and DHW are American Miniaturist (which is great as it is small and fits in a bag) and Dollhouse Miniatures. Miniature Collector is, I believe, a offshoot of the Nutshell News. American Miniaturist is always chock full of good ideas while the other 2 are hit and miss, in my opinion. I really like the DHW but can't afford the subscription and they don't sell it here, so will probably do the online thing with the TV. I can get the Miniature Scene at Borders, but a month late.

I have enjoyed having the DHW online subscription, mainly because you have access to so many back issues. I am a bit disappointed with a couple of the latest issues though - so many pages of ads.
