Unhappy Yorktown Style?

Me again

I've a question - maybe more for the US miniaturists - : Is there something like a "Yorktown style" of buildings?
I found some windows/door at EuroMinis (Netherlands) and they translate the name from "Patriciers-..." to "Yorktown-..."
And now I'm trying to find out how a complete building would look, at least from the outside
(Couldn't find anything helpful with Google and I'm afraid my english just capitulates at the special terms used in architecture)

Maybe there is another name for the style?
Can anyone identify it with the attached picture?

Hi Trixie,
just had a look at your album.
Do you have a Pic of the house how it is supposed to look finished?
Or maybe a Link to where you bought it (looks like it was a kit)?
Thanks so far.

Hi Mouse... it is a kit bought off ebay... I haven't finished it yet and don't have a pic of it with the windows painted and glued in... I painted the bottom half with textured paint and then bricked the top with Peter Clarke bricks... Davidsmum also has this kit with a basement and has used Bromley Crafts stencil and compound on the outside and painted windows etc... under home sweet home Davidsmum Tearooms.

Hello Mouse,

I don't know about Yorktown style, but in the UK, I would say the windows were Georgian in style.

As Trixie says, you're welcome to have a look at my Tearooms if it gives you a better idea.

At least I got a starting point for my search.
Thanks

Yorktown is the name the manufacturer gave that style window, they're made in Atlanta, Georgia. Yes, they are Georgian style.

Thanks,
it will be easier now to look for some pics of buildings (the front sides).

Red face HELP: Georgian style

And again: Me

Does anybody know websites/links (with lots of pictures) to find informations about Georgian style houses?

I'm interested in townhouses, built "downtown" at a large city (e.g. London).
Not so much like a "mansion" more like a "terrace house" (hope that's the right term for it). I'm searching for some examlpes how the facade would look and maybe some ideas for the interior as well.

Looking through the forum I realise that most people do Tudor or Victorian style but maybe...perhaps... PLEASE... is someone out there for Georgian style?

Hi Mouse - my Fairfax Hall is Georgian based on Fairfax House in York which has a website. Think you would find the Georgian House Style Handbook by Ingrid Cranfield very useful.
