Default Lighting the attic in Mimosa Cottage

Hi, I am new to Dolls houses & am wondering how I install the lighting in the attic of Mimosa Cottage. I have bought the quick style so it has the grooves for lighting already in, but they are at the back of the attic & not on the ceiling.

HI I have just looked at Mimosia cottage on the DHE site and the lights are in the ceiling so seems there should have been groves put in . It maybe that its an option for wall lights. I have put groves in the flat roof of my property for the lights in the attic ceiling, so you could always do that yourself.

Welcome to the forum Suzieq. I agree with Carol - you can put grooves on the top of the flat roof for your lights.

Hi. Thanks for the suggestions. I might just put wasl lights in as I'm not papering the ceilings, so there is mothing to cover any wires up in the ceiling.

Welcome to the forums Suzieq, take a look at the wiring masterclass on the DHE main site, that may help you to sort your problem!

Hi The groves have to be put on the top of the roof not on the ceiling below like on lower levels the groves should be on the room floor and go through to the ceiling below.
As Val says possibly better to check out the wiring masterclass. I always find seeing something makes it clearer.

I got Mimosa Cottage quickstyle and have just put a single light on the back wall, you would have to put the grooves in yourself if you wanted them on the ceiling.
Pics in my album.
