Default Brian Nickolls Georgian House
Hello all,
I am a newbie to your forums. I have just started building a Brian Nickolls house from his book "Making Character Doll's Houses". I was hoping to hear the experiences of others who made this piece.

Mine was from DHE but is Georgian.

Hi Michael, welcome to the forum, I am new as well!

I had a Brian Nickolls book delivered yesterday (2nd hand from eBay!), not the same one as yours but "Making Dolls' Houses in 12th scale"

The tudor house in it is absolutely gorgeous, my OH has promised to make it for me (just as soon as we've completed our two current projects, lol)

There is a Georgian House in my book, made from real wood and then varnished, which looks really good.

Will you be using wood for your house or MDF?
