Hmmmm m.o.m Quote "some of us normal some of us are bit nutty". I really got quite worried about the fact that as a senior citizan I was returning to my childhood so kept my dolls house tendances "under my at". But since finding this site I have had the courage "to come out" and admit , yes, to admit to the world I am now a dolls house addict. Possibly add "nutty" to that too. There is no cure for this very addictive condition luckily. The only side effect is one of enjoyment.
So Sarah, your interest in dolls houses means you are one of us. Welcome to the DHE forum Whatever your age young/old enjoy. The guys/gals have some wonderful ideas and are prepared to pass them on. It is great trying to think ideas yourself on how to make items using everyday things. Beads/felt/of pieces of material/laces anything that people have no further use for. Libraries are a great sorce of infomation, and books can be ordered if not in stock. I have used this option a great deal, before finding this site. Also obviously the internet. I was interested in ladies hats and Val found me a lovely site that gave instructions. Then of course we have our clever lady m.o.m. with her curtain instruction. Then someone mentioned Filmo so really what I am saying is you can enjoy without a great deal of cost.

Hi CC,

Its being so young in the mind, that keeps us young in body ! ! ! !...........Oohhhh, I like that.........did I say it.......'twas rather a phliosophical comment, for one so blonde, as myself, that I am................Oohhh I think its that tutorial, it's gone to my head.........LOL

I know what you mean about the "coming out, bit though" I have friend who thinks I am weird, because she doesn't understand why adults want to "play" with dolls...............then her sister got one and she changed her mind.......

As for odd items, my house if full of them...........I could open my own material store for a start.......LOL I can't resist going into a shop and buying material, when I see something suitable.........

I would love to see the stall but it won't let me open the album. Any ideas why not?
