Houston, we have a go!
Okay, it's not as far as the moon (but sometimes using public transportation is like coordinating the first Landing on the Moon).
But we're lucky: we talked my dad into the trip to Arnhem (I just make it into a present for my parents 50. Anniversary ), so we're going by car (much better for a shopping spree )

So cross your fingers that mum & I find lots and lots of nice "little" things!

There is a Dolls House Fair on Saturday 20th Feb at Thame Leisure Centre, Oxfordshire. It is just off of the M40 junction 8.
There will be over 40 stalls, including Peter Clarke (bricks etc), Mags-Nificent Miniatures & Ray Storey (lighting).
The fair is run by KT miniatures and 50% of the profit goes to Breast Cancer Campaign.
Definately worth a visit.

I'm thinking of heading up to Kempton Park in March. It'll be my first fair and want to make sure its worth the ferry fare off of the Island

I'm going down to the Hinkley fair on Sunday as I need to pick up something that was made for my AG and is ready now, never been to this one before!
It is also looking like I will make NEC too as my friends operation has been delayed due to a few complications, so looking forward to that too now!

I’m back from Hinckley and have to say that was a very nice fair and well worth the hour’s drive to it too on such a nice day! Picked up my pre- ordered fireplaces and managed to get a few bits for my Malibu bedroom (yes it is coming along slowly lol) and I think the last bits to dress my table in the dining room in AG. I must get all my bits out sometime to see what I do have giggle.

Hello Val,

Good to hear you had a nice time at the fair. Do we get some pics of your goodies?

Talking Arnhem DollsHouse Show

Just coming back from the Netherlands there mum & I spend the whole Saturday afternoon at the Show. The fair was interesting and fun, we got lots of new ideas...

And because we had our "Shopping-spree" ...half of the car trunk was full with our stuff. And Pa's reation: Where will you put it at home?

Don't worry we will find a place!
(Maybe I try to sell some of my older houses on ebay )

As you see I got myself the "Lake View"-Kit (complete with Garden Room) and also some doors for the inside - already decided that I don't like the bathroom open ... Now I'm playing with ideas for the interior (and if to start a blog for it ).
Mum bouhgt a rom-box but haven't decided yet what kind of room she will do.
Also we got some glassware, e.g Vases, bowls, a punch-bowl

Unfortunately some stuff we liked very much was also very much outside our price range even if we're in the mood to indulge ourself with some "extras"
Have just to try to make it ourself
