I went to the fair on Sunday in Altrincham and managed to get a few things, including a market stall which needs doing up.

Anyone going to Kelham this weekend? or any news on what this fair is like? I'm down in Ipswich Saturday and staying in Cambridge Sat night so am tempted to come home via the A1 and pop in....haven't been to a fair for a while, have started card making too so have been a bit busy with that so thought it would be nice to have a nosey.

Smile Kelham

I have been a few times , but I find it's the same people every time and at least half of the hall is made up of dolls [ not miniature ones ] and bears,I am saving myself for the NEC in march.Saying that dont let me put you off going it's just that it's close to me and as such I have been many times, some of the stalls have bargins .it is a Dolly Daydream fair so you can check out on there web site to see who will have stalls. Take your own food as it gets very busy with long waits at the food stand.

Hiya Weepy,

I have been to this one several times, the DH bit is not huge but is a nice fair...it is joined with dolls and bears so can be very busy to start with. The DH bit is in a room on its own so once you find it you see it all!

I want to go and planned to go but it all depends on this stupid weather lol. They have a list of the stalls on the dollysdaydreams site but of cause with the weather I guess a few may not turn up!

Thanks for the replies. I'm in two minds....will be either come back A15 as normal...or not too much difference coming up the A1 and across (half an hour or so travel). Think I'll wait and see how the weather goes too. If it's not too bad I'll probably go for a nose and if not there is always Barnsley next wkend lol

Hi Weepy, I'm planning on going to Kelham depending on weather. I haven't been before but as it's not too far away it makes a change (it's still too early to get Pauls bike out he he)

I went to the Dolls house fair at Elsecar today. (a last minute decision,) I go a shelf unit large for 2.50 a small shelf unit for a pound. A light up fire £4.00 and a house light 2.50.

Could have spend an absolute fortune but as I'm not working on the main house at the moment and just sort of buying "bargains" if you know what I mean I resisted. LOL! Only just. Saw some beautiful houses and I have to say some beautiful things.... if only the money tree would grow!

Hello DeeGee

Sounds like you had a good day and it's nice to get a bargain!
