Hi Treehugger

What are you like? Does this mean you'll still be keeping up with minis as well as your new hobby?

I'll still be collecting dolls ,and miniatures again now.....so it's going to take me a long time to buy new furniture for Mountfield....but there's no rush.
Both hobbies are expensive so I'll have plenty to spend my money on now!
I can't understand why nobody wanted to buy my Mountfield....maybe it was just too far away for people?....or maybe they prefer to buy a kit and build their own.....???.....I'm not bothered now anyway as it must have been meant to be as I did name this house after my dog Brandy who I lost a year ago....I called it Brandy View....maybe it was him stopping the house from selling...mmm. Lol

Hi Treehugger

I'm glad to hear you haven't given up on miniatures. Wouldn't it be terrible to be kicking yourself say a year down the line if you'd sold your Mountfield? Maybe you could have a summer project and a winter project and manage it that way.

I personally prefer to buy a built house as thats just me, i hate the building bit. But i know a lot of people only buy kits.
Its such a lovely house and its special to you with its name so maybe you are meant to keep it

Glad you're not leaving the miniature world!! Do what I do and save all your 50p and 20p pieces then go to a dollshouse fair and blow it there!!

I don't enjoy the building of houses so would prefer to buy built but I prefer the 1/24th scale size anyway which are easier to find readymade

One house is a nice diversion when you want a break from your other hobby.

ebay is really fickle I have found. You can list an item one week and nothing, then relist and end up with a bidding war! This time of year, people are probably stressing over their Christmas credit card bills. It was meant to be anyway.
