What Mini-adventures have I missed?
Well I got back from holiday yesterday and I'm just aching to get back to mini-ing!!! What have I missed! I looked at newposts and I barely recognise anything!! Someone give me a quick run down so I can catch up with you all!
I wanted to bring back something for each house from Menorca but obviously buying something for 1/12 scale was a big ask so I've got shells and rocks. The beautiful Chinese cabinet I've got with all those individual red drawers is for Summers House and that's meant to hold a geological/gem stone collection so that is something for that, and as for the Looking Glass house I havent quite decided. I still might do something really mad like make something out of a shopping bag I've got. That's the fun of the Looking Glass house! Hope you're all well I cant wait to catch up!

Hi gald that you had a good holiday.
I am newc around here so I dont think that we have spoken before, so I am something new already!! But these guys have already persuaded me to build my first kit!! (ok . . . so it didnt take that much persuasion!!) I have 3 dolls houses already but I have never built one myself before so its very exciting!  Hope to chat with you soon!

Hi Sarah! The people on this forum are seriously arm twistingly clever when it comes to minis! Actually its not so much bully tactics (although MOM -Jill has been accused...
 ) as the enthusiasm for mini-ing is so dangerously contagious! Good to see you Val, I'm super glad to be back. I just ordered Alex's Rocky Ridge AND all accessories and dolls, he is so spoiled and lucky I wish I could spend that much on minis, but its for his 4th birthday pressie in its entirety which is just next week. Tonight I hope to do some GH work.

Welcome back.... glad you had a good holiday,now all the hard works starts again, no rest for the wicked
Well I've managed to get most of the basics done for my patio/garden found under Mandeli's in home sweet home Bet Alex will be overjoyed at having a sorta house of his own.
