Well I've had a big 'paint in' today Been giving all the ceilings and the rest of the inside a basic coat of paint.....
Nearlly didn't get started as I couldn't find my mini roller I knew I had one but couldn't find it for love nor money. I had to go and buy another one in the end and lo and behold the handle snapped with first roll! I was not happy....Searched everywhere in the garage and found one in there among the 'big' house decorating stuff.......so not a very good start. Anyway now stuck waiting for paint to dry ....

Another update on progress!
The paint job has continued today....and I've built up again to check how things look. Nothing is glued still but it's looking more like a house don't you think...?

I am really wanting to get it glued together now BUT I need to seriously consider how I'm going to decorate the exterior...and make up my mind whether I'm going to do that whilst flat or built up - decisions decisions! Heeeellllpppp!

Hi Kath,

Thanks for the pictures, yes it is beginning to look more like an house now. Very nice paint job. I love the house, looking forward to seeing more of your progress.

If you can visualise it, I would decorate before glueing, it is so much easier that way, wish I had done it with my 3 large houses.

Ann

Thanks Ann ....
Holly there's alot to paint isn't there? I still have the windows to finish off - the parts right next to the acetate
Have you painted/stained the internal doors yet? As you can see I've stained mine and there are few areas where the stain won't take because of glue presumably which is abit annoying - there 's not alot I can do about that though. Also did you have large blue Xs marked on a couple of pieces? I think it was to help in working out which way round a couple of them go well one of these flipping Xs is showing through my white paint and it's right near the ceiling just above where the picture rail is to go. I hope it covers and stays covered soon. I keep going over it and it keeps on coming back!
