Card bought at the stationers or art shops is usually coloured all the way through I have found, for future reference!

Hi Val... I bought this huge A1 sheet of mountboard from the craft section at The Range.. it's probably white card painted/dyed charcoal on one side only which is probably why it's white the whole way through If I need to do something like this again, I'll keep any eye out for solid coloured card

Just looked at all your pictures and Mandelis looks amazing I couldnt believe that in the kitchen you got all the stripes to match! I tried doing that with my normal paper with borders and i couldnt do it!

Great job - love seeing all the pictures so keep posting - your hard work is very evident x

awww! thanks Penny.... wasn't as difficult to match up stripe paper as you think, it's from a free printie site and all I had to remember was to make sure that my computer print settings were the same for both sheets (I did have to scrap just 1 sheet) though I have cheated a little by doing just 2 walls and not all 4, doubt I would have got the front panel to match he he Because of lack of funds, I'm having to be a bit more creative in sourcing free wallpapers, cheap sample pots of paint etc and of course trying to make some of the furniture etc (though luckily I found the kitchen units quite cheaply at a fair)

Just a quick update....I've finally finished the roof tiles and dormers etc, glued on the shop/name sign and now ready to hinge on, as the weather forecast isn't looking good, hopefully Paul will help me this weekend to get the roof and door panels hinged on and then I can post some pics...
