Its what i want from mine too, although hubby caught me testing the stairs with a doll and said " I thought you said its not a toy to play with ". he then offered to help and I drove him mad until we got the openings the right size.
However he has now started building a miniature shed so I think the "bug" has bitten him too!

lol this did make me laugh, hubby has caught me ''playing'' with the people too......climbing stairs, testing the chairs and tables i made, checking the 'reach' height of a doll so shelves are correct height ...etc, i have gone way beyond comment now, i just hear him say to the kids ''your mothers at it again'' or ''hide your sylvanian family house, she'll be playing with that next'' (and i do!!!! well, i set it up at least, and of course, then i have to play with my daughter, don't I?)

glad he has the bug though, makes life a bit easier, especially if you need help with something you cannot do. my hubby would help if i asked but i never do, he's to of ''that will do'' nature and i am too much of a ''that will never do''

Oooh now there`s a thought, my youngest daughter (aged 27) sold most of hers years ago but kept some she could`nt part with and put them in the loft. I wonder what she saved, and more to the point would she hand them over. I feel a rummage in the loft may be approaching. What scale would they be?

my daughters was bought recently and we got her the country store, for our Dh i can use the food, bottles, cups, glasses etc, a till, a few bits and pieces of the clothes. the furniture mostly is not good as it is all too wide and short however things like the shelving units and that are fine, if not a little plasticy. i do however have my eye on some of it for a future project that i don't even have a property for yet lol. so yes, worth a rummage

Hi oooh this rings a bell My grand daughter left a tall ice cream "glass" Here last time. Only last week I was wondering if she would miss it. Some of the little items from the families just fit nicely into DH's

thank you joe

it's not perfect and i would have preferred a bit more realism, but i think it will look ok once it's all done
