It's amazing how some projects can cause a lot of mess. At the moment my house is standing on my husbands workmate!! I am hoping to get the basement later for the house but for now it's handy to put tools and things under. I've yet to do my mouldings. Trouble is with me I tend to start several things at once instead of finishing one project. I will think of something and want to do it straight away and leave what ever I was doing. It is a lovely hobby and I am really enjoying it.

Hi,
I'd just like to point out that the very early photos are from my 12th scale house I wish I could achieve that in 144th! ![]() 144th is not very defined at all. You can get some quite sweet little pieces of furniture though. At the moment I'm just trimming mouldings and wooden floors to go in the cabinet, and although I have tried very hard with a ruler and very fine blade, they are still wonky. I think it's unavoidable on this scale really. It's all going to look quite crude in the photos on here I think because they are larger than real life. I always spot my mistakes when I put the photos up. I haven't found many 144th accessories. I have just found a tutorial on how to make 144th perfume bottles out of 1mm and 0.5mm no hole beads. The 0.5mm beads arrived today and they are so tiny they're more like dust particles than beads! Don't know how I'm going to grab them with my tweezers or glue them anywhere. |
