Default An amazing modeller - 1950s Americana!

Photos of my models - a set on Flickr

I just wanted to share this link with you all - my husband sent this to me because he knew I'd love it - he was right, and I think you will love it too! How amazing is this man's work? He's a great photographer too. These are all miniatures in 1:24, although they look *so* real I can hardly believe it!

I know what you mean! If there weren't photos of him behind the models, I'd think it was a fake! But it's definitely not - the man is just a genius (and a stickler for detail!)

Amazing photos! We are awestruck here!

If you can get hold the book 'Magnificient Miniatures' or even browse it on Amazon (some shops have browse pages) I think you will enjoy it too.

I did enjoy these photos, he is one clever miniatureist and has used real life trees and sky lines to great advantage in his pictures.

I wasn't convinced it was mini - till I saw his hand in the photo! Absolutely brilliant work.

Hi I thought it would be hard enough to make these in 1/12 but 1/24 is amazing.
Thanks for posting that site

Hello Carole,

Yes, I noticed that too. I've decided foamboard is fine for me. It seems to be lighter.
