Smile Hello all

Happy New Year to everyone. An introduction - My name is Lisa and I am queen of unfinished dolls houses, master of the new obssession.

I got my first dolls house when my nan left me some money and I wanted to spend it on something I would never throw out and that she would have loved. After much thought I decided on a one-up-one-down-with-an-attic as my first project and with a lifelong love of Clint Eastwood I started my Saloon. That was 9 years ago and it is still unfinished but one day I will be ordering my custom made "Man with no name" to stand at the bar! After much moaning to my mum (who also "does dolls houses") that it was difficult for me to buy anything as a saloon was so specialised, she bought me a room box which is a cafe in progress. Next came my beach hut, handmade by my fantastic mum, for my 40th. And last but not least (which prompted me to join here) a "freebie" from a friend who had no room for it (who does?) - my Hambleton Hall. This mega beast joined me last month and I have just been gazing at it since. I came on line to find some pictures of a similar house to give me some ideas and decided to join.

Anyway thats enough about me, what about you all

BTW In my haste at joining I spelt my user name wrong - any tips on how I change it? lol

Welcome to the forums Lisa, I have several houses and none of mine are finished due to one thing or another lol.
Drop a line to DHE about the name error and they will sort that for you.

Welcome to the forum Lisa. Think there are a few of us with several projects on the go at once.

Hi Lisa. I am a new member as well and am finding lots of interesting stuff on here. I am not sure dolls houses are ever really finished - there is always one more thing to do - much like life really!
