Default Hi Everyone, I'm new

Hi everyone,

I've just joined this forum and I wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm also new to the world of Dolls Houses and miniatures. I'm 37 and I've finally purchased my first Dolls house and I'm totally hooked. I can already see that the house I've bought isn't going to be big enough lol.

Ever since I was a child I've wanted a collectors Dolls house and it's great to say that I've finally got one. Although, I'm not sure my Husdband is as pleased as I am especially as he's seen some of the prices of miniatures now.

I bought a secondhand house through ebay, It's a Dolls house workshop house and it's called Ash House and it came with the basement. It's currently blue and white and I'm busy working away changing things.

I've got so many plans, lighting, different doors, possibly different windows, the list is endless.

So, I just thought I'd drop in to say Hello

Hi Michelle.... welcome to the forum.... I think there is a couple of other Ash Houses on here.... this hobby can be very expensive especially if you buy everything ready made but you will find ways of adapting cheap furniture and making furnishings yourself also keeps the cost down. There are loads of ideas in the home sweet home threads for inspiration.
