Default I'm a bit miffed!

Just a wee word of warning - I ordered a small item from Miniatures Online at the beginning of January and paid for it. I still don't have it despite emails and phone messages (none of which have been acknowledged). The item cost under £3 so nothing to get overly upset over but I'm really annoyed at the lack of response.

Something to bear in mind if anyone has been thinking of ordering from their site.

That is so annoying Irene and they will lose sales for this, we all live and learn from events such as this. I hope you do eventually get what you paid for! Maybe a letter to their address if you know it would get their attention!

Hello Devon,

You're right - they were certainly quick enough with that!

Hello Val,

They offer two email addresses so I've sent another message to both today. We'll see what happens with that.

I was very tempted to add: "Is anybody there?" lol

i agree the cost of the item is irrelevant, if your anything like me i order a single item from someone i have not used before or that did not come recommended so a small sale often leads onto a large one. there is no excuse for lack of communication.
i hope you can find the item you wanted elsewhere

Hi Irene I like you and others agree is not the cost really, although I feel however much /or little you spend should be treated the same. On line businesses should be on the ball with correspondence no excuse for that, is easy enough to do.
No way to run a business me thinks.

I would be annoyed too, in my eyes it doesn't matter if the items costs £3 or £300 you should still receive the item and if not still receive a good level of customer service.
Did you pay by Paypal? if you did you can open a dispute and Paypal always pay the buyer the money back.
I would just carry on trying to contact them until they reply. As you say it certainly doesn't make me want to buy from them.

Thats very disappointing, especially as their website says their "Customer Service is second to none" !!

I thought my waiting time for a delivery was bad enough but my order with Maple Street was only placed on 22nd January, so not quite as as bad as yours

I hope they get back to you soon
