These are very cute.
Our local 99p shop had the
little bird houses weeks ago,
hope they haven't sold out.

Thanks for all the tips, Sue.

I've just spent so long on that link, looking at the items for sale and the information on making them, that I lost all the new posts on this forum so I'm struggling to catch up now. It's a great link and I'm planning how I'm going to do a mini garden.

Default Bird houses....

I took the plunge today and bought a couple of bird houses...£1 each........i scored the doors then got some pliers and broke away the bits i did'nt want...i used uhu glue to stick the lollysticks on and the slates.......later i put instant filler£1 inbetween the slates......when the third wall was done i was able to use a wet one and clean off the drying filler......will paint it grey tomorrow and then think about putting a step on..i bought a silver cake base the other day so i may stick the house to it and do a little more.....picket fence,trees,stream,flowers......it can sit on a bookshelf....somthing to do in the summer holidays with kids/grandkids...

you could put a small house inbetween 2 tall ones and make a castle........make turrets.......or a double gabled house.......or make a church..cover with air drying clay....
