Thank you all for your great suggestions, I will send Adrian a link to this thread and he can go from there :-)

This miniature world is great fun .......

I am just starting to write an article for a miniature's magazine, I was asked to do it earlier in the year and the deadline is now approaching, I think it will be in the June addition but I will keep you posted. I also need to paint some new miniatures as they have asked if I would be part of that months giveaway / competition to win some of my Art In Wax, so lots of exciting things going on for 2014 :-)

Thanks Sue and Rebecca

Been a busy morning, Adrian has been taking some pictures of me painting in miniature, all part of the Dolls House magazine feature coming out in June, but copy has to be in soon, they wanted some photos of me in action, so we have done some of me using my heated stylus, also painted a couple of miniatures in the theme they asked for as they will be a “Giveaway” in that months issue …..... which we have framed a couple and mounted a couple to look like canvas ....... just need to finish the words for the article / profile piece and its ready to send :-)

We have now ordered some shiplap weather board from an online supplier, so hopefully this will mean the start of the project .......

Yes I use those, I mainly 'borrow' them from coffe shops, especially from airports as I like their coffee stirrers best (as they are free)

Motorway service station are a good place to get free coffee stirrers. I took a load with my coffee on the way home to France.

I used those flat coffee stirrers - coffee shops and Ikea!
However, what I feel looked best was when I used heavy paper - Hobbycraft - and I cut it into strips and stuck it on bit by bit - it took a long time but was worth it. When it was finished I gave it all a coat of PVA glue and then painted it.
