Default MONTY's MINI FAIRY GARDEN...

....I am now an owner of a RL garden.....we laid a lawn 2 weeks ago and had some spare bits so monty asked if he could use it for some old pots i had lying around.....
..he planted some saxifrage which is 8cm high and spreads about 25cm..also some sedum which is another spreader.....the grass bits seem to have knitted together well.....so will a look out for some toadstools, birdhouses to make into fairy homes..can't find the 2 i did last year....
...i have a raised flowerbed which i am hoping to cover in grass in a few weeks time so this will be used for the mini peepal to do 'their things' on.. ....dog show, carboots, fair, camping, picnics, oudoor concerts etc....... ....will ned to make some mini bunting soon......

So pleased that you have a real life garden Sue. Lets hope the weather is going to improve. Enjoy planting up. Monty looks real chuffed with his garden. Cant wait to see the pics of all the activity planned.

.thanx ladies..yes i enjoyed potting the containers last year ,we are a bit limited because of salt/sandy winds...lots of brown leaves here and there but a good selection of shrubs fitting the climate....be glad to see some colour...
.need to find some small plants....and mini trees.....moss would be good...best found lurking in your own gardens or in the woods..i read on a site earlier to scrape it from trees at the base......may try this...

I like what Monty is doing with his garden.

Be careful where you get your moss from Su as it is illegal to take it from the countryside. I took some once for hanging baskets thinking they would be glad to get rid of it only to find a few weeks later someone was fined for taking it.

That looks awesome, and I very much like the gardener's sweater.

RL is short for Real Life. Su is talking about her proper garden not a miniature one.
