Hello everybody...sorry I've been under a rock for a while but keep working on the house when I have time. As an update, all the external beams are done, all the windows and glazing are in, I've added and grouted real stone slabs all around the outside and added some real slate tiles...I'm no hoping Santa brings me some more! and I'm currently working on adding a fireplace into the large chimney.

I decided that the downstairs right is going to be a bakery, the left a pub, above that a restaurant, toilets in the middle and a kitchen on the right above the bakery. Then the attic is going to be converted into a dressmakers shop as a tribute to my mum.

I really wanted to make a lot of the furniture myself but then got put off seeing some of the finer pieces and wondering how I could ever achieve the same finish. However, after piecing together a small tool kit including a Dremel (seriously this is a game changer!), I'm going to have a go as making a lot of the internals.

I'm going to figure out how to add some pictures so I can show you where I am currently.

Here are some of the latest pics. Rather than gluing the right hand bay window on I had an idea to use led strip lights to light it up and attach with strong magnets instead. I can then hide the battery on there and remove the window to turn on and off. As it's going to be a bakery it should have a nice display window.
