Default My wee house, from way back when

A pic of the house so far. This is a very old model these days, as it was built way back in 2008.

The dolls house has finally been completed. It was not an easy build, as the fit was very poor and the instructions even worse. Ended up doing the roof pretty much our own way, with only a few glances at the extremely puzzling instructions. The roof was modified with openings being cut into the roof for the dormer windows.

I had some help from mum for some parts of the build.

Hi Skyfire,
And a happy welcome from me. You did quite a pretty job on this property. I was told that it wasn't an easy thing to assembe though never had one of my own. The interior is quite lovely, too. Will you leave it as is?

Thanks for the welcome. Think I will leave things as they are for now. Now if I had some more room and a bit more money, I would probaly add some extra rooms to it. Keep thinking a glass house and/or a conservatory would be nice to have as well.

Hi and welcome to this forum. You have done a fantastic job of. It. My first dolls house is bases on this one but I have modified it and change loads of it. The structure was completely changed. I can understand how poorly it was.

Hi again,
That sounds most interesting. Though I am of the Playmobil fraction I am not dogmatic enought to reject Lego. Well you show us pictures of it?

Here is a photo of the model in the expo. The trailer you can just about see, wasn't part of things at the expo, (maybe next year, if I can work how to finish it off as an off road caravan). Only change is the righthand aerial at the front is black instead of grey at the expo, thought it looked better.
