Default Sorry to you all

I think i had better own up, I'm not Jeeves but please let me explain.

Some time back I joined this forum and was very keen on my new hobby then one afternoon I was off walking my dog and I collapsed just by my back gate, I crawled back in doors and told my wife what had happened, to cut the story short I ended up in my local hospital for a week for test but thinking it was arthritis.

At the end of a week a specialist did some test on me at this time I could not walk or use my left arm with out a nurse to help.

After about an hour I said to him whats wrong with me and can you put it right, he answered you have a trapped nerve in the top of your spine but my team can fix that with an operation, after some thought I asked him say if I don't have a operation, he said first you will loose the use of your left arm followed by your legs, once this happened I can't help you.
I beg your forgiveness, Reg

This was on a Friday, on Monday at 7.30 am and 60 miles away I was admitted to Southampton Hospital, by 11am they started to operate on my spine.

It has taken many months to recover but my left arm is not to good but I can walk with a stick.

Lucy the puppy bit the wife and regretfully she had to go back, the dog not the wife, also I had to give up the caravan and our lovely 4x4, but it's not all bad news, I am now back with the dolls house, so I decided to go back on the forum, now you must bare with me with this, the operation played some funny tricks with my mind, I can not remember coming home or much about the first week at home, I was afraid to move so I just laid in bed feeling sorry for my self, so after many weeks I went to sign on this forum, it asked for my pass word, I will admit I cried as I could not remember it, several weeks past and I was telling a nurse about this and she told me just re-join again under a different name, so here I am Jeeves.

I have changed many parts of the house now and am in the process of adding a cafe to the side of the house.

I would like to take this opportunity to apologies to every one for the deception but it was not intentional, please find it in your harts to forgive me.

We also now have a new dog, a bit old like me but has been help-full as I can now take him for a walk plus to day I went off road-in with my daughter (slowly), no pain, yet.

I will stay as Jeeves the butler now but I expect some of you have worked it out who I was before, but I have changed my life style so much and the dolls house was meant to be.
Jeeves: just a traveller on the road of time.

ah don't worry about it, just glad you are ok and able to do the things you love to do, life is short, don't live with regrets. the internet offers a lot of anonymity when you need it, there is no worries, i certainly have no problem

There's no need to apologise at all. If your dolls house and chatting here gives you pleasure then carry on and keep posting your progress.

Don't feel sad Jeeves, you haven't upset anyone. I'm pleased to hear you're making a recovery. Please do keep doing your dolls house and telling us all about it - I've really enjoyed reading your posts/story.

Dont worry about it,
like the others have said no problem!
I wouldnt even go as far as calling it deception, you havent conned anyone, just forgot your password.I do it all the time if I dont go back to a site regularly. Thats my excuse for having to come back here just for a little look almost everyday.
Happy dollshousing, keep up the good work.

Don't worry about that Jeeves. I am so glad that you are getting better and better each day. You haven't hurt anyone by using the name Jeeves. The important thing is that we share the same hobby; dolls houses. Keep smiling

As a newish member I have only known of you as Jeeves, but the main thing is that you are on the road to recovery and enjoying your hobby which is what it is all about. I've got lots of names, Elayne (me) wife, mother, grannie (she won't call me anything else), grumpy gran (at times) and lots more my OH calls me (can't repeat on here) so what does a name matter? Just have fun with your hobby
