Default The Thorne Miniature Rooms

I just got a fab illustrated book "Miniature Rooms" - the Thorne Rooms at the Art Institute of Chicago that features beautiful period rooms (European and American). Looking forward to reading and glancing at the photos...

...and here´s the link to the museum´s website where they have posted all the rooms on view (so I wouldn´t have had to buy the book then )

Thanks I will !

I think the idea to build a false staircase at the back (like in pic 2) is great, prob just too difficult for my skills

Claudia, that is one great book to own - I am a total book-aholic & regardless of whats online, I would always prefer the book, somehow is more 'real' ....also better on the old eyeballs . Congratulations on a brilliant acquisition Many thanks for sharing the links too, but I fear I may be browsing for book after pay day....10 days & counting...

I got my copy from amazon for 37 € which is resonable prized I think.
