I've really got a move on today and got the range painted and Sean got the electrics working.

And I got the lounge flooring done (it didn't take me so long this time- only an hour!!)

Very nice Sylvie, I haven't even started on any rooms yet what with all of the sawing, sanding. painting, screwing, moving stairs about, then there's the false walls, chimney breasts and fake stairs to think about, never mind the lighting, skirtings and dado's ect, can't wait to actually start decorating, lol

Sounds like you're doing a total rebuild Chris! Maybe you should call in DIY SOS! Haha mind you, I wouldn't mind Nick Knowles and his team coming over for a bit of DIY!!

Well I still got the skirting and ceiling coving to do, but I just want to see some progress, I'm so impatient I want it done yesterday!!! Went into our DH shop yesterday and got the red carpet, then over to the little stall in the market to buy the tiled flooring.

That's it till the weekend as back to work tomorrow

Yes I seem to be (total rebuild) so many good ideas on here and I want to try everything. I find our DH shop doesn't stock much, I think The House That Jack Built on the Barbican (no ref. to dolls houses) does some stuff, I might take a wander down there when it's not raining. ( Anyone else reading this, me and Sylvie have realised we only live five minutes apart ) and yes Sylvie, we must meet up we'll have so much to talk about.
