Hi Dollyrocker_daydream,
I hope you have a large room/house for all these projects.

My ultimate fantasy house would be a medieval-ish fantasy castle complete with secret chambers, spiralling staircases, towers, dungeons, grand royal bedchambers/apartments, a menagerie full of mythical creatures, libraries, a dragon's cave beneath, banquesting halls, vaulted ceilings, turrets, oversized fireplaces, perhaps even a moat. It would have to be at least 20 or 30 rooms.

On a visit to the Museum of Childhood, amongst all the big houses on display was a small, two up two down with a little backyard and outside lavatory. I think it was an old, handmade house but it had such character and looked so realistic I fell in love with it.

I must have a thing about old musty houses because if I could make a dolls house from scratch I would model it on Rigsby's boarding house in Rising Damp together with spiders webs, peeling paper and layers of dust. I would also like to recreate the house Steptoe & Son lived in complete with junkyard and old cart horse!

All a bit odd really because in my real house I do not like clutter, dust or spider webs!

Oh! I am glad I am not the only one. Yep. A grungy conversion with several little flats would be great.

Well I would love a beautiful victorian country house, with beautiful big windows and stone colums big cyrstal chanderlias a big garden for strolling around with roses growing up the walls. A big ornate water fountain central in the garden.

And it has to have grand rooms like: A ballroom, a Drawing Room, French bedroom, Boudoir, Study, Library, Kitchen, Wine Cellar, State Dinng Room, Morning room i could go on and on but i like very detailed things they have to be just right (perfectionist in working lol)

That is my fantasy house !!

Wow Teddy! You really have thought about that dream house. It sounds wonderful

I like old stuff - a bit battered and characterful.
