Thanks Jackie. I guess it's everyone problem. Once you have more than 3 dolls houses, problems start and more complaining. But that dampens my spirits. I let him do what he likes to do so what's the problem if I do what I want to do? I love pointing it out to him and it makes him feel awful. At the moment I am a full time mummy. Keep the house clean a tidy and look after 3 small children. Most of the time I am always at home. So I need some time for myself.

At least you don't have a hobby that takes you away from home while he looks after the kids so don't feel guilty & don't let it dampen your spirits

I think deep down they like to remind us how good they are not to moan

Just read your thread from the start Rebecca! LOL you are hopeless case!! Poor Gilbert just dotes upon you and sounds so good natured about your .....er MAJOR ADDICTION! your new build looks lovely, I have never seen that one before and look forward to seeing your street of shops! go for it girl! Why do we always have to justify our hobby? I am so grateful for the forum because no one here seems to get how great a hobby it is! I work very hard for my wages and if I want to 'waste' my own hard earned on my first serious hobby then I will! its my big boys who grumble about how much I spend! Lewis keeps saying my Mounty should have been his quad bike! the cheeky monkey! Mr Bambi never complains, well he cant, because he spends a lot on his passion for photography! I haven't bought a stich of new clothes in year and a half since this hobby got a grip of me!

Well said Bambi. Us ladies are entitled to have free time that we can spend on our great hobby, especially as it is our own money we are spending. Hubby is a great help with ideas and supports everything I do as he has his tractors and lathe to play with. We girls must stick together. Sorry, and boys too who love this hobby.

Well agreed my dear bambi and Margarite. At the moment I am spending the earnings that I get from my etsy shop for my miniatures. So Gilbert can't say that I am spending any money from his pay check. Once I go back to work in January. Oh boy here I come dolls housing!

Many years ago, My Hubby complained about my miniatures obsession...
I said..."Some Women have other Men...I have Dollshouses"
There endeth the conversation!

Looking forward to seeing what you do, Rebecca....

That's a good one Mags. I like that phrase! Should keep it handy for the next one! Thanks for the tip.
