Default My story

Hello everyone, hope you are all well.
I have had a break from my dolls house building, why you may ask, well I will tell.
I sort of have a granddaughter but not by my own daughter, more adopted, nice girl, she visited us on several occasions and she fell in love with my house, her mum has now decided to move to Scotland so I gave the young girl the house after asking her mum.
I started doing other things like small wood work jobs and a bit of decorating in the home then I was talking with my doctor about my health, (lost a bit of use of my left hand) and she said have I tried craft sticks.
I looked on youtube and found a clip on this young lad that make model house's with them.
I am now on mark 2, it is 4 feet by 2 feet, 2 stories high with a small garden in the centre.
I have only done one wall and the ground flooring so far, so very early days.
As for scale, just under 1-12 maybe 24 scale.
I must admit it is great fun, I seem to love making it.
It is time to go dog walking now but will keep in touch.
Jeeves

Hi Jeeves, ive seen the lad on you tube, I think it will be the same one, very good. Your project is marvellous, and well done in achieving this when you having some health problems, its looking very nice, excellent idea with the centre garden. Good luck with it, and thankyou for showing us,

Welcome Back Jeeves, This looks a very impressive project and although it may be a smaller scale it looks like its going to be quite a large and interesting building. I hope you continue to post updates as I will be very interested to see how it develops.
