Default Magpies

I've just put on a few photos of my Magpies. I'm making the whole bottom floor into a Victorian Haberdasher/Drapers shop. It's still a bit sparse but I'm getting there!

Hello denimdolly,

It all looks lovely. That's the beauty of a shop - you can keep adding to it forever!

I'm impressed with the amaryllis too!

Hi denimdolly, I love how its all starting to come together now. And I assume the amaryllis is the flower Jean & Irene are talking about, I think it looks beautiful too! Really vibrant colour!

Thats lovely. I am having trouble with the same stairs as before. They wont sit level on the bottom step its only a couple of mls but you can see it. I can press the stairs into the wall and then it fits snuggley. The shop stair case where the railings are does the post at the top of the stairs meet.

I looked at Magpie's and Cumberland Castle when I went to DHE for my first house, but in the end I settled for April Cottage and barn. I may get a shop (or three!) in the future but I'll have to wait until I move out of my parents' home and find my own full-size haven before I commit to any more mini ones. However, I would like a few of the 'small projects' in the DHE catalogue such as the Magical Mystery Tower.

I'm thinking of 'converting' my barn into a dance studio (top) and office (bottom) to be a bit different, and a feminist music teacher will soon be moving into the house with no husband or children, but a lot of pets.

Your Magpie's looks really good, better than mine at the minute lol
