Hopefully it will dry alright and those bits that came right away have given it a well (very well) worn look. Only a couple more coats to add...

My brass door knobs were looking a bit too shiny so I tried out 'antiquing' them over a flame. Worked beautifully Then I picked up the brass lions head door knocker, my recent pride and joy purchase, to give it a more antique look . . . it melted.

Oh well, tomorrow is a fresh start!

What disasters have you to share?

I know what you mean Sharon....last disaster I had was when I sat on the bed, forgot that I'd laid the front of the house down and heard ..crack top half of the house had broken off luckily along the glue line
